Christmas Markets in Rutland 2022
With the evenings drawing in and the temperatures dropping, Christmas will be here before we know it!
Christmas is a lovely time of the year in Rutland and the independent, boutique shops in Oakham, Uppingham and Stamford make the area a great place to pick up a more unusual and thoughtful gift. Here are details of local Christmas Markets.
Burghley Christmas Fair: Thursday 24th November to Sunday 27th November 2022. The region’s largest Christmas Fair, with over 130 stalls offering everything from luxury gifts, artisan food and drink to Christmas decorations and winter clothing. Open from 9:30am – 4:30pm each day with late night shopping until 9pm on Friday night. Adults £6 when booked in advance.
Stamford Christmas Market: Sunday 27 November 2022.
Rockingham Castle Victoria Christmas: 24th November to 27th November and 1st to 5th December 2022, 11am to 5pm.
Uppingham Christmas Market: Thursday 1st December 2022, from 5.30pm .
Melton Mowbray Christmas Market: Friday 2nd to Friday 4th December 2022.
Oakham Late Night Shopping: Monday 12th December 2022.
Belvoir Castle: 18th November 2022 to 1st January 2023. Cinderella at Belvoir Castle.
Belton House: 24th November 2022 to 1st January 2023. An after-dark illuminated trail transforming the gardens with over a million twinkling lights and seasonal sounds.
Finally, Gates Garden Centre have already opened their Christmas doors earlier in October! With 14,000 square foot of displays and extended opening times for Christmas, if you are looking to get into the Christmas spirit, this is the place to go to! https://www.gatesgardencentre.co.uk/
