Award winning team open restaurant in Oakham!
The award winning team behind the very popular Berkley Arm in Wymondham have now ‘moved house’ and have recently opened Hitchen’s Barn in Oakham.
Neil and Louise Hitchen transformed the Berkley Arms in Wymondham from a little know pub to a very successfully pub restaurant, being awarded with a Michelin Bib Gourmand which they retained for eight years. They have now opened the beautiful Hitchen’s Barn in Oakham, with the same staff and award winning food.
We have been lucky enough to eat here twice over the past few months and the food and service have been fabulous.
The menu’s change daily, depending on the seasonality. The restaurant is already proving very busy so booking is required.
Currently there is a ‘lunch for even less’ menu to choose from where you are enjoy 2 Courses for £17.95 (add a 3rd course for £3) until 27th April.
Hitchen’s Barn is closed on Monday’s and Tuesday’s, but is open for lunch and dinner for the rest of the week. To book please call 01572 722255.
Hitchen’s Barn is located on 12, Burley Road in Oakham. There is free parking in the Burley Road car park after 6pm.
