Summer at Rutland Water

Isn’t the weather just lovely at the moment?

I had to share this photo taken this morning near Manton overlooking the big ‘puddle’ Rutland Water!! Everything looks so peaceful. I was lucky enough to spend half an hour walking round Rutland Water this morning and didn’t see another sole. Saying that I did see plenty of sheep, lots of birds, plenty of rabbits and even a fox! But not another sole in sight  –  absolute bliss.
