Story telling

Old fashioned children’s games

Drama at Browne’s Hospital Garden

The weekend also includes a Saturday Street Fayre combining craft and farmers’ market, period street performers, fairground rides, military re-enactment and a town crier.

For more information and tickets please visit or call Stamford Arts Centre Box Office on 01780 763203.

If you are coming to Stamford for the Georgian festival and need accommodation, why not stay at Puddle Cottage? The 4 star self catering cottage is located in Edith Weston on the South shore of Rutland Water and within walking distance to Rutland Sailing Club and Rutland Fishing Lodge and Stamford is less than 8 miles away. The cottage sleeps two people comfortably in either a super king sized bed or 2 full size single beds. Well behaved dogs are also very welcome. Please contact Anna on for more details or should you wish to book a stay.
