Snowy Puddle Cottage!

The last few days has seen a significant amount of snowfall in Rutland. This photo was taken on Sunday and it has continued to snow since!

Thankfully the cottage is well equipped for such weather conditions. There is full central heating throughout the cottage and there is an open fire (with logs and coal provided) so that you can snuggle up in front of the fire on colder days. The cottage is also filled with games and books to keep you entertained, as well as having facilities such as a large flat screen TV with DVD player and WIFI which is available for guests to use free of charge.

The 4 star self-catering cottage is located in the charming village of Edith Weston which has a local pub ‘The Wheatsheaf’ and a village shop less than 5 minutes walk away for essentials! Rutland Water is just a short walk from the cottage and Rutland Water looks so peaceful covered in snow. Rutland Sailing Club, Rutland Water Fishing Lodge and Normanton Church are all within walking distance and Oakham, Stamford and Uppingham are within 8 miles of the cottage making it the ideal base to explore Rutland.
