Book boats in advance if Fishing at Rutland Water this Autumn

Anglian Water are suggesting that you book boats early if Fishing at Rutland Water this autumn with September and October being the most popular months.

According to the Anglian Water website, Rutland Water saw good fishing conditions again last week (http://www.anglianwater.co.uk/leisure/fishing-news/archive/6521304F513B44E599B9A27733511ABC.aspx)

The South Arm saw most of the action last week with Gibbets Gorse, Manton Bay, Lax Hill and around Browns Island being the main areas.  A few boat anglers fished back up the extremes of the North Arm and caught well on the Saturday and Sunday.  The best methods for boat anglers have been floating line with a buoyant fly on the point, small floating fry or boobie on the point with diawl bachs/crunchers (pheasant tail) with green metallic rib or holographic cheeks working very well.
